A Meeting of Two Kings
The year was 1520 and the world was ablaze with possibilities as two Kings set out to meet in Calais. Determined to outshine the other in the proceeding talks of peace, this event was soon to be known as The Field of Cloth of Gold. What propelled them to meet, how did each vie to outdo the other, and what did the thousands of courtiers do during this grand meeting?
